Payment & Billing Policy
At Max Medical Equipment GTA, we want your payment experience to be clear, secure, and trustworthy. This Payment & Billing Policy explains the currency we use, the payment methods we accept, when you are charged, and how your payment information is protected.
Currency
All prices on our website are listed and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.
Accepted payment methods
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:
- Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club
- Digital wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Shop Pay (including Shop Pay Installments, where eligible)
The payment options shown at checkout reflect the methods currently enabled for your order and region.
When you are charged
Your selected payment method is charged at the time you place your order and your order is confirmed. If a payment cannot be processed or is declined, your order will not be completed. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.
Secure payment processing
Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and our other approved payment providers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We do not store your full credit or debit card numbers on our servers. Card data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors.
Taxes
Applicable sales taxes (such as HST/GST) are calculated automatically based on your delivery location and are displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
Refunds
