Shipping policy
At Max Medical Equipment GTA, we are committed to delivering your medical equipment safely and efficiently. Please review our shipping policy below.
1. Shipping area
We deliver across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding Ontario regions. We do not currently ship outside this area. For more remote locations within our delivery area, additional delivery time or charges may apply.
2. Processing time
- Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or statutory holidays.
3. Delivery time
- Standard delivery: 3–7 business days
- More remote areas within Ontario: 5–10 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to location, weather, or carrier delays.
4. Shipping charges
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on product size and weight and the delivery location. Free shipping may be offered on selected products or promotions.
5. Carriers
Large items such as hospital beds, lift chairs, and medical furniture are delivered by our own local delivery team within the GTA and surrounding Ontario. Smaller items may be shipped by Canada Post or a major courier such as UPS or FedEx.
6. Large & heavy equipment delivery
For items such as hospital beds, lift chairs, and medical furniture:
- Delivery may include curbside delivery only.
- Inside delivery or installation may be available at an additional cost.
- Customers must ensure adequate space and accessibility for delivery.
7. Order tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number or delivery confirmation via email or SMS.
8. Damaged or lost shipments
- If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos or videos.
- If your shipment is lost, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
9. Incorrect shipping information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses. If delivery fails due to customer unavailability or access issues, re-delivery fees may apply.
